The Cava-breakaway consortium of Corpinnat includes Spain's finest makers of sparkling wine in what has to be the most rigorous appellation in all of Western Europe. And at the very top of the Corpinnat heap (in which no member is a proverbial "weakest link") are the fiercely traditional, razor-sharp sparkling wines of Gramona. In our opinion, not only do Gramona's wines compete with non-vintage Champagne, they surpass them...especially in terms of price/value. Organic.
